WBEST Presents it’s latest episode: Hooked on Books Parade 2024. WBEST stands for World’s Best Educational Student Television. Fourth and fifth graders at Berea Elementary School in the WBEST club meet before school, as well as work to put together most of the interviews and footage during the school day.
The students come up with the concept for the show, who they want to interview, write scripts, and conduct interviews themselves. Students learn proper etiquette for filming and working with each other.
Using a program called WeVideo, the students take the footage they have captured and work together to edit it into a final piece. Students learn public speaking skills, working with others, writing for an audience, and more.
