The Valley Central Middle School Library offers a variety of digital and print resources for students to use when researching academic topics or reading for pleasure.
While the VCMS Library offers the traditional resources of books, we also have started a program in Makerspaces. Makerspaces are areas where students come to explore, build, create, and tinker. Students are learning without turning to the front of the room for directions or receiving steps from the teacher at the center. They are the ones directing the action. They use a variety of materials since each space has its own unique set-up and feel based on the needs, interests, resources and goals.
