The Superintendent of Schools, is authorized to make transfers within budget codes as stated in the popular budget provided, however, that the aggregate amount of such transfers to any appropriation expense may not exceed $50,000. Such transfers shall be reported to the Board of Education at their next regularly scheduled meeting.
All transfers in excess of these amounts will require prior Board approval. In the event of an emergency, the Superintendent is authorized to act on the Board’s behalf and approve such transfers. These transfers shall be reported to the Board at their next regularly scheduled meeting.
