An educational environment will be fostered that provides equal educational opportunity for all students. Educational programs and services will be designed to meet the needs of all students. Participation in instructional activities and required field trips will not be dependent upon economic status.
Every individual should be encouraged to develop and achieve to his or her potential. The district therefore shall provide every student with equal educational opportunities regardless of race, color, creed, sex, national origin, religion, age, marital status, or disability. No student will be excluded on such basis from participating in or having access to any course offerings, student athletics, counseling services, employment assistance, extracurricular activities or other school resources.
Additionally, the District does not discriminate on the basis of sex and prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity that it operates, as required by Title IX, including in admission and employment.
