Report cards are issued at the end of each ten-week marking period. In addition to the report card, interim reports may be sent at five week intervals and must be sent for students at risk of failure. Teachers must attempt to contact parents personally whenever the need to do so arises. The use of progress reports (and report cards) is encouraged to communicate positive messages as well as areas needing improvement.
