To Parents/Guardian:
I hope you are having a wonderful summer with your family and friends. Summertime for school professionals is about replenishing, rejuvenating, and planning for the new year. As we quickly approach the end of August. I want to warmly welcome you and offer some of the essential reopening information.
I would like to welcome Ms. Maribel Garcia-Alvarez as our Greeter. Ms. Jaime Rywalt is our Family and Consumer Science teacher, and Señorita Cadena will be our Spanish teacher. We are excited to have all of these members joining our family!
Our doors will open for students on Thursday, September 5th for the start of the new school year and we are so excited about what is to come! Our goal is always to create a warm and welcoming school environment where students can thrive and families can feel a part of something special.
As a reminder, our instructional program begins promptly at 8:45 am and concludes at 3:15 pm. Busing information is being mailed home. If you have any questions regarding busing, please contact Renee Marchant at transportation@vcsdny.org. All students will receive a folder on the
first day of school, with important information for the school year. Please complete the forms and return to school promptly.
We look forward to our ALC Welcome Back BBQ on Thursday, August 29th from 4:30-7:00 p.m., we hope you will join us.
