Congratulations to the Valley Central Girls 4x200m relay team on qualifying for the NYS Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The team of Catherine Primavera, Dayna Scott, Rebecca Sibley and Mackenzie Lennon ran a new school record time of 1:45.29. This is the third time that the 4x200m team has broken the school record this season.
Catherine Primavera also qualified individually in the 300m dash with an outstanding time of 41.67.
The 4x200m relay team and Catherine will continue their season on March 2nd at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island for the state championships. Additionally, the 4x200m team will head to Boston, MA on March 8th for achieving the standard for the championship section of the New Balance Indoor Nationals Track and Field Championships.
